He was a retired engineer after working for thirty years for General Motors in Detroit, MI.
A Veteran of the U.S. Air Force, he was a member of the Honor Guard for American Legion Post 32 in Livonia, MI, American Legion Kirby Stewart Post 24 Honor Guard, ELKS Lodge #1511, Moose of Bradenton, and Miscues of Colony Grove.
Survived by wife, Mickie Dennis of Ellenton, FL; step-sons, Daniel Jack (Cindy) Dennis of Waterford, MI, Tad Alan (JoAnna) Dennis of Sterling Heights, MI; daughters, Kathy (Larry) Streeter of Lakeland, FL, Kim (Tim) Murray of Westland, MI; two sisters, and nine granddaughters.
Military Honors will be 1:00 P.M. Monday August 23, 2010 at Sarasota National Cemetery 9810 State Road 72 Sarasota, FL 34241.
